Iver Johnson Pump Features The Iver Johnson Pump shotgun features a push-button buttstock that removes for a compact pistol-grip-only configuration giving shooters flexibility between a shoulder-fired setup and a shorter more maneuverable profile for tight spaces. The polished blue receiver pairs with the blued 18 barrel for a durable corrosion-resistant finish that stands up to repeated field use while the cylinder bore barrel is threaded for choke tubes so shooters can adapt the shotgun to different shot patterns and applications. A fiber optic front sight improves visibility and speeds target acquisition in varied lighting conditions from bright daylight to low-light defensive scenarios. The alloy receiver keeps the shotgun lighter than an all-steel build without sacrificing durability making it easier to carry and maneuver over long periods. A Picatinny style rail sits atop the receiver giving shooters a solid mounting point for red dots or other optics to complement the fiber optic front sight and extend the shotgun s versatility. The synthetic stock in matte black finish resists wear moisture and general abuse requiring little maintenance compared to a traditional wood stock and holding up well in harsh conditions. Holding 5 rounds in the tube the shotgun offers solid capacity for a defensive or field-ready 20 gauge platform without adding unnecessary bulk. This combination of a removable buttstock accessory rail and rugged synthetic furniture makes the Iver Johnson Pump a versatile adaptable choice for home defense truck gun use and general-purpose shotgunning alike.
