DPMS Anvil Features The DPMS Anvil is engineered around all-new precision-manufactured AK components rather than surplus parts starting with a hammer-forged bolt carrier and front trunnion for tight tolerances and long-term reliability. The 4150 steel barrel is nitride treated for corrosion resistance and durability then pressed into the hammer-forged front trunnion to preserve the accuracy AK rifles are known for. A 1mm hardened steel receiver anchors the action while the side rail scope mount offers a traditional AK optics solution without altering the profile. The adjustable 800-yard rear sight leaf rounds out a sighting system built for practical engagement distances. Both the front trunnion and bolt carrier are engraved with the Anvil name marking this as DPMS s hammer-forged flagship AK model. The rifle wears classic black polymer furniture across the handguard fixed stock and pistol grip for a familiar low-maintenance feel in the field. A mil-spec style single hook trigger and manual safety keep the controls simple and reliable under pressure. Ready to run out of the box the Anvil ships with a 30-round magazine so shooters can get to the range and put the hammer-forged construction to work immediately.
