Chiappa Firearms Rhino 30DS Features The Chiappa Firearms Rhino 30DS fires from the bottom chamber of its cylinder rather than the top lowering the bore axis relative to the shooter s hand and reducing felt muzzle rise on each shot. This design lets the shooter get back on target faster for follow-up shots with the 10mm Auto cartridge. The single/double action trigger gives the shooter the choice of a lighter single-action pull or a traditional double-action first shot. An internal safety system protects against accidental discharge and the revolver includes three moon clips for fast reliable reloading with rimless 10mm cartridges. The frame cylinder and barrel all carry a nickel-plated finish for a bright distinctive appearance and added corrosion resistance in the field. A Picatinny rail integrated into the aluminum frame provides a mounting point for a red dot or light while a vent rib atop the barrel aids in fast target acquisition. Black rubber grips provide a secure comfortable hold that helps manage recoil from the 10mm chambering. Machined from 7075-T6 aluminum alloy the Rhino 30DS keeps the package light without compromising the durability of its steel cylinder and barrel.
