Breakthrough Clean Carbon Removal Tool Features The Breakthrough Clean Carbon Removal Tool uses a retractable double-ended blade to scrape carbon buildup from tight spaces on the AR-15 bolt carrier group bolt and firing pin that standard brushes and patches struggle to reach. To use it the shooter pushes a lever on the back of the handle then pulls the blade end out until it clicks into place for scraping. When finished pressing the round button and pushing the blade back in retracts it flush with the handle for safe storage. This mechanism keeps the sharp scraping edges protected when the tool isn t in use. The ergonomic handle is shaped for a secure comfortable grip during repeated scraping motions reducing hand fatigue during a thorough cleaning session. Its compact size means it fits easily into a range bag or cleaning kit alongside solvents brushes and patches. Carbon buildup left unaddressed can contribute to malfunctions and jams over time making a dedicated scraping tool like this a valuable part of a regular maintenance routine. For AR-15 owners who want a faster more effective way to tackle stubborn carbon deposits this tool is a practical addition to the cleaning kit.
