Black Rain Ordnance Fission Features The Black Rain Ordnance Fission uses a SOCOM-profile 4150V chromoly barrel finished in a durable black nitride coating giving it corrosion resistance and a smooth low-friction bore for consistent .300 AAC Blackout performance. The direct impingement gas system runs off a non-adjustable low-profile gas block simplifying the design while keeping the rifle running reliably across a range of ammunition and bullet weights typical of the cartridge. A salt bath nitride coated bolt carrier group reduces friction and wear during cycling extending the service life of the internal components under sustained use. The Mil-Spec G.I. trigger provides a familiar predictable trigger pull that AR-15 shooters will recognize immediately making the rifle easy to run for both new and experienced owners. Forged from 7075 aluminum the Spec15 upper and lower receiver set is finished in a striking Zombie Green Battleworn pattern that sets this rifle apart from a standard black AR-15 and gives every rifle its own distressed one-of-a-kind character. A 12 inch M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for mounting a light laser or foregrip along the full length of the rail while the castle flash suppressor caps the 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for reduced visible signature and recoil impulse. The MFT Minimalist stock and matching black MFT grip round out a lightweight ergonomic furniture package built to keep the overall rifle weight down without sacrificing a solid cheek weld or grip feel. At just over 7 pounds the Fission combines a distinctive Zombie Green Battleworn finish with the dependable reliable function AR-15 shooters expect from a quality-built .300 Blackout platform.
