This Orvis bamboo Battenkill 8&'; 8wt is a sweet old school rod. If you are a bamboo rod collector or want to start fishing bamboo rods this would be a great rod to pick up. These are super fun rods to cast and fight fish on. The rod is in good shape for its age, all of the guides are tight and have no wiggle and the ferrules are tight and make a nice crisp pop when pulled apart, there is some of the "Battenkill" writing missing on the butt section of the rod but other than that everything about this rod is great. The rod comes with the original 2 tips, rod sock, and rod tube. Feel free to give the TCO in Reading a call with any questions about this rod.
