Description The Lamson Guru Fly Rod Outfit is a complete setup that does not feel like a compromise. It combines the medium-fast Guru rod with the precision machined Guru X reel, and arrives in a cordura case that protects both. The Guru rod delivers versatility and feel in equal measure and the Guru X reel matches it step for step. One combo, built for a lifetime on the water. Rigged And Ready Backing, Line and Leader - This version arrives preloaded with backing, a U.S. made fly line matched to the rod, and a leader. It is dialed in from the factory: string it up and fish. Blank Medium-Fast Action - The Guru blank is a 9 foot 4 piece designed to load easily at short range and still carry line when you need it, which is what makes it a sensible first serious rod and a genuinely useful travel rod. Reel Lamson Guru X - The outfit is built around the fully machined Guru X, with its large fluted click-stop drag knob and large arbor. It is the same reel Lamson sells on its own, not a downgraded version. Grip Sized To The Line Weight - The 4wt through 6wt use a half wells grip; the 7wt and 8wt move to a full wells grip with a fighting butt for lifting power on bigger fish. Rod Tube Cordura Case - The outfit ships in a cordura carrying case that holds the rod and the reel together. Warranty Lifetime Warranty - Lamson warranties this outfit against any defect in material or workmanship for the original owner, covering both parts and labor. It does not cover damage from misuse, improper maintenance, or modification, and is limited to repair or replacement at Lamson&';s discretion. Repair parts or colors may not match the original rod.
