Once the engine reaches the appropriate operating condition specified by the manufacturer, the Camco winterizing system allows the cooling-water supply to be switched to marine antifreeze. Its clear hose makes it easier to monitor antifreeze flow into the engine.Before winterizing the cooling system, add the included fuel stabilizer at a ratio of 1 fl. oz. per 5 gallons of gasoline and run the engine long enough to circulate the treated fuel. Apply the aerosol fogging oil according to the engine manufacturer's storage procedure.Important: Always consult the boat and engine owner's manuals before winterizing. Confirm that the flusher fits securely over the thru-hull intake and determine the antifreeze quantity required for your specific engine. Some engines and cooling-system configurations may require more than the three gallons included with this kit. Never run the engine without an adequate cooling-water or antifreeze supply.
