Product Description Buffalo Bore Lever Gun "Strictly Business" .45-70 Government ammunition is built for serious lever-gun performance, pairing a heavy 430-grain hard cast lead flat nose bullet with high-power internal ballistics. While this load is externally identical in dimensions to SAAMI-spec .45-70 ammo and will chamber in .45-70 firearms, it operates at substantially higher power/pressure and is not safe for all .45-70 rifles. Buffalo Bore specifies that use should be limited to certain modern, strong actions (including Marlin 1895 rifles made since 1972, select Browning/Winchester 1886/1885 variants, modern falling-block actions, and other listed firearms). Each box includes 20 rounds (12 boxes per case) for hunters and shooters who want deep-penetrating, flat-nose hard-cast performance.
