What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've had this in rotation for group rides all season since it packs down to almost nothing but still earns its spot on the bike. It handled everything from a chilly rollout to a quick stop at the cafe afterward without ever feeling out of place."A good vest earns its keep by doing a lot with very little, and Castelli built the Transition Air Vest around that idea. We love how the microfiber nylon blocks wind the second it's needed, then folds down small enough to disappear into a pocket the moment it isn't. The asymmetrical zip with its branded scorpion puller adds a small, considered detail to a piece that's otherwise all function, while an elasticated waist keeps the fit clean whether we're mid-ride or standing around after. It's the kind of layer that moves easily between a hard effort and a coffee stop without missing a beat.
