The Adelante Pant reinforces the knees with double layers of fabric, so kneeling on wet rock or brushing through low branches doesn't wear through the material the way a plain hiking pant would. A C0 DWR finish on the stretch poly-spandex blend sheds light moisture without trapping heat, keeping the pant warm enough for fall days but breathable enough not to overheat on the climb. An adjustable waist keeps the fit dialed in whether we're layering up or down. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I went down on one knee on wet rock more times than I'd like to admit on a scramble last fall, and the fabric held up every time. I stopped thinking about my pants after the second fall, which is exactly what I want from a pair on rough terrain."
