DPMS M4 Features The DPMS M4 runs a full-auto profile bolt carrier group with a shot-peened mil-spec Carpenter No. 158 steel bolt and the gas key is hardened to USGI specifications and staked per mil-spec for dependable long-term function. The 16 chrome moly vanadium barrel is finished in black phosphate with a 1:7 twist rate and topped with an A2-style flash hider on a 1/2x28 threaded muzzle. An F-marked front sight base pairs with a Magpul MBUS flip-up rear sight to deliver a complete adjustable iron-sight system ready to run without an optic. The forged 7075-T6 upper includes a forward assist and dust cover keeping the action protected in the field. The forged 7075-T6 lower is hard coat anodized and built around a Panther Polished Trigger single-stage fire control group for a consistent repeatable pull.
