The Series 2 aluminum frame features a tapered head tube, 3D forged dropouts, IS brake mounts, and semi-internal cable routing - the kind of construction details you'd expect on a full-size trail bike, not cut corners you'd expect on a kids' bike. The geometry is what makes this bike ride like the real thing. A slack head tube angle keeps the front end planted at speed and through rough sections, and a steep seat tube angle puts the rider's weight forward over the pedals on climbs. A 1x drivetrain keeps shifting simple and the chain on the ring when things get rowdy. Hydraulic disc brakes sized for smaller hands give confident, proportionate stopping power on technical descents. Marin's tubeless-compatible double-wall alloy rims are ready to run sealant for fewer flats and better grip out on the trail.
