Product Description

Insulation for Cold Weather Built for alpine environments where warmth and adaptability are essential, the Helium Down Mitt serves as a highly insulating layer within a modular handwear system. Ideal for camp use, transitions, and cold-weather mountain objectives, it provides critical warmth when activity levels drop and temperatures fall. For maximum protection in wet or severe conditions, it pairs easily with a waterproof shell mitt to create a complete cold-weather handwear solution. A 100% recycled nylon 20D ripstop shell provides lightweight durability and wind resistance, while RDS Certified 700 fill down insulation on the back of the hand delivers exceptional warmth with minimal weight. PrimaLoft® Cross Core™ synthetic insulation in the palm maintains thermal performance while enhancing grip, dexterity, and moisture resistance in high-contact areas. Inside, a 140g Tricot Microbemberg palm lining and low-cling woven polyester back-of-hand lining enhance comfort and moisture management. Combining lightweight warmth, packable insulation, and layering versatility, the Helium Down Mitt is built for alpine pursuits where maintaining warmth before, during, and after movement is critical.
