AR500 10x12 Steel Plate Spall Guard Blocker. A unique enclosure to capture the spalling effect from projectiles if the enclosed steel armor plate is hit by a projectile. The Spall Guard Envelope provides the wearer front facing four layers of Teijin UD laminated Aramid in a 1000D Cordura ballistic nylon housing. The Spall Guard Envelope also provides the wearer rear facing EVA foam Trauma pad for comfort and to help deter the compression of a projectile strike.
