This Lamson Guru S -5+ HD is a fantastic versatile reel. Since this reel has a full frame design it would be great on the smaller spey and euro nymphing rods. The full frame design keeps skinny running line and long thin leaders from slipping between the frame and spool which is necessary on spey and euro style rods. The reel is in great shape, there is one small ding on the frame but it does not affect the functionality of the reel in any way. Other than the small mark the drag functions perfectly and there are no other blemishes to note. The reel comes with a spare spool, backing on both spools, and reel pouches for both the reel and spool.
