Designers Notes As we no longer need our cyclocross bikes to also be our gravel bikes, the Mean Jean has aggressive race geometry: a tallish (66mm) bb height and a short 415mm rear end. It fits a 44c tire in the back and is a riot in the dirt. It's way more flickable on trail than a modern gravel bike, which needs to be stable at 35mph while descending a dusty road surface made of marbles. Strangely enough, for some riders the short wheelbase and agile handling will actually make it the "gravel" bike they've been dreaming of. - Jeff It'll go anywhere, but the features, or lack thereof, speak to its intended purpose. Two bottle mounts. No fenders, no racks. Simple. Though because of the way our carbon fork molds work, it does actually have internal dynamo routing in the fork.
