The top of the receiver has a dove tail cut into the marking ""Patent / M1908"" is all that's left. The right side of the barrel shank is marked with the serial number ""15146"". The left side of the barrel shank is also marked ""NPv (Vienna smokeless proof mark)"", and with an ""Austrian Coat of Arms"" stamping. The underside of the bolt handle is marked with the serial number. The bolt knob is marked ""46"" the front of the safety lever is also marked ""46"". The front sight is a German silver blade dovetailed to a checkered, ramped base. The rear sight is a ""U"" notch with a folding ""U""-notched leaf marked ""300"" dovetailed to a banded base. The stock is a one piece checkered hardwood with a caped pistol grip, a raised cheek piece, two sling loops, and a serrated metal buttplate with hinged storage door."
