The insert-less design eliminates the thread insert found on larger Bowers suppressors reducing overall length and weight to the minimum achievable for a wipeless magnum-rated rimfire can. Both the front and rear aluminum caps are removable using the included wrench for baffle access and maintenance. The 1/2x28 direct thread mount ships with the Bitty for immediate installation on compatible rimfire hosts with no barrel length restrictions across the supported caliber range.
