Product Description
Press, flick, and fidget your way through everyday carry with the Spyderco ButtonUp. Designed by Eric Glesser, this is Spyderco's first-ever manual-opening button-lock folder, built for the EDC carrier who loves a smooth, satisfying action as much as a dependable working blade. The button lock pairs with ball bearing pivot washers to deliver one of the most fidget-friendly folders Spyderco has ever produced, ready for daily tasks from the trail to the job site. This black-themed version runs a modified clip point blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, full-flat ground for clean cutting geometry and finished with a stealthy black oxide coating. The open-backed handle is built from smooth carbon fiber and G-10 laminate scales, reinforced with nested stainless steel microliners around the pivot and lock for strength that belies its light weight. A reversible hourglass clip anchors to a second set of microliners in the butt of the handle, giving you a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry. It straddles a lined lanyard tube, so fobs and lanyards attach with ease. Smooth, secure, and endlessly satisfying to run, the ButtonUp is a button-lock folder built to live in your pocket and your hands.
