The leather (and why it’s named on the label) Badalassi Carlo (Olmo, Tabacco) — Italian vegetable-tanned full-grain. Firm, builds a deep patina. Crazy Horse (Pistachio) — waxed pull-up. Scratches rub out with your thumb, color shifts with carry. Ponte Wax (Tan, Pumpkin) — vegetable-tanned, smooth. Tan is neutral; Pumpkin is warm orange. Koala (Black) — smooth, even, minimal marking. All full-grain — the top layer of the hide, not corrected or bonded scraps. Who it’s not for If you want a snap-button closure, look at the Sailor v2. For belt carry, the Sailor v4 has belt cutouts.
