Other improvements of the IR-Hunter Type 3 include a USB-C connector, allowing the operator to extend the battery life and download images/videos, and a Trijicon Q-LOC mounting system allows the optic to be easily attached in multiple locations. The Trijicon IR Hunter Thermal displays sources of heat on three different pallets: black hot, white hot, and edge detect.
