The Smith Enterprise Good Iron Muzzle Brake is a 14 port brake designed to be extremely stable during rapid fire. The Good Iron brake is constructed of 8620 steel and treated with salt bath nitriding for corrosion resistance and superior durability. The brake's upper ports are arranged to reduce felt recoil and eliminate muzzle rise, while the lower portion of the brake is closed to reduce the dust signature when firing prone. The included jam nut makes it easy to time the break on your rifle with an armorer's wrench, and the brake also includes flats for a wrench for even simpler installation. This model is compatible with Smith Enterprise/Fisher quick attach/detach Direct Connect (DC) sound suppressors.
