Designed especially to withstand the power of a .50 caliber round, the MGM .50 caliber Flash Target utilizes a 10" hex target plate laser cut from extra-beefy 5/8" thick AR500 plate, then bolted (yes, bolted not welded) to a 3/8" thick backer plate/bracket on a pair of 3/8" steel flat bar. The target assembly pivots on a lubrication zirk fitted machined hub and shaft. The whole set up quickly mounts in laser cut brackets and is suspended from 72" tube steel legs for added height and great stability, this is the best .50 caliber target. Perfect for .338 Lapua as well.There is a large white polycarbonate card in front, and hiding behind is a smaller fluorescent orange card. When the target is hit, the swinging/pendulum motion of the target rotates the white plastic down and the orange plastic up, so the shooter (and the range officer) get an eye full or 'flash' of orange.
