The Mod 1 MIPS Helmet is Oakley’s newest addition to their fleet of on-snow helmets, with a top-tier construction that’s focused on freestyle skiers. We give major kudos to Oakley for the machine-washable helmet liner that’s easily removable for riders who prefer to wear their goggles under the helmet. The MIPS protection system displaces energy in the event of a crash with a separate retaining piece that rotates independently from the shell.
