Product Description
"This M1 Carbine manufactured by Saginaw Steering Gear (a division of General Motors) is a classic example of a WWII-era U.S. service rifle, chambered in .30 Carbine. This rifle is in overall very good condition, showing light to moderate handling marks and wear consistent with use and age. The metal surfaces retain a solid, even finish with some minor edge wear, while the wood stock remains structurally sound with scattered handling impressions and finish wear. The stock features period-style rack markings (""DPD 61"") on the butt, indicating prior Detroit law enforcement inventory use, adding to the rifle's historical character and authenticity."
