This modular kit lets you mount a Picatinny-style stock attachment (such as certain folding stocks or braces) in place of a buffer tube, while incorporating a flange at the base of the Picatinny plate for added interface support. The adapter is a two-piece design that installs into the threaded buffer socket/ring and secures using the included hex-socket bolt and lock washer.Important compatibility note: Standard configuration AR-15 style rifles will not function with this adapter, and it is not intended for use with a standard AR-15 lower paired with an MCX upper.
