The S.S.P is an attachment method allowing you to attach your stick, stand, and or platform utilizing the same strap. The S.S.P can be used with your sticks by simply going around the tree and placing the prusik and prusik tender over the versa button while pulling the tag end to cinch tight. For attaching stands and platforms with the standard version, you will utilize the 2nd prusik or top prusik on the main line to create a winch style hitch (Trucker&';s hitch). Place the top prusik roughly at 1 to 3 O&';clock on the tree, grabbing the main line that feeds through the top prusik, place the main line (now looped) around the versa button. From there, grab the prusik and prusik tender, place on the versa button and pull tight. The truckers hitch style will attach your sticks extra tight but is not needed, while stands and platforms need the truckers hitch style to hold tight. The XL version has been created to almost solely be used with either our hybrid stand, or trickier setting tree stands. Most stands, platforms, and sticks only need the standard version.
