Each radio delivers up to 2 watts of transmit power across 22 channels and supports multiple privacy codes for flexible use in work or outdoor settings. The radios are powered by replaceable 1800 mAh rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that provide up to about 12 hours of battery life, and they include desktop chargers, AC adapters, and belt clips in the box. Controls include channel selectors, a large push-to-talk (PTT) button, low battery alerts, and monitor and auto-scan functions, and the units are compatible with other FRS and GMRS radios.
