We add the Alpine Aider to our rack for big wall pursuits. The light, low-profile construction stays out of our way and mind until the holds disappear. Despite the skinny webbing, our feet are comfortably happy standing in the steps, while the upper sub-steps and full-strength grab loop enhance our top-step moves.
