The rifle's accuracy potential starts with a 1-piece, 3-lug bolt, which is machined to lock into the receiver with extraordinarily tight tolerances. The bolt operates with a 70 throw and controlled-round feeding, utilizing a Sako type extractor and a fixed-blade ejector. The action is pillar-bedded into the carbon fiber stock, free-floating the barrel. The match-grade, button-rifled barrel is hand-lapped and cryogenically treated to produce consistently precise shot placement, with a target crown applied for guaranteed accuracy and five flutes for heat dissipation. The lightweight composite Monte Carlo stock features a Limbsaver recoil pad for maximum protection from today's magnum cartridges.
