Product Description
"For your consideration, an FN Hi-Power chambered in 9x19. Features include a slotted frame, thumbprint slide, redback grips, and tangent rear sight. Circumstantial evidence speaks to this piece being possible a Finnish Air Force gun. The serial number falls within the 11,000-15,000 serial number range of Finnish contract pistols, and bears a lightly struck ""N6"" Finnish inspection proof on the right trigger guard web. While it lacks a [SA] property mark, 50% or less of those destined for the Army were so marked, and the majority of Air Force guns escaped marking as well. Most Army issued Hi-Powers exhibit extensive wear and finish loss, whereas known Air Force issuance are in comparable condition to this example. Additionally, its serial number is just 8 #s off from an Air Force Gun documented on page 724 of Anthony Vanderlinden's excellent, ""FN Browning Pistols."""
