This semi-automatic pistol has a reputation for quality and extreme reliability. It has a round 4 1/2-inch barrel and fixed sights. This pistol has had the front sight ground off. The blued finish is worn, and the pistol shows signs of hard use. The grips are sound, and the bore is excellent. Functions fine. The Hi-Standard Model B was widely used by the US Navy for service weapons training and was issued to the US military for training purposes. Approximately 14,000 of these were produced for the US government.
