The Shield Arms Standard S15 Mag Catch for GLOCK 43X/48 is designed to pair with Shield Arms S15 magazines. The mag is compatible with the factory mag release, however, the steel-bodied mag will increase wear on the factory plastic mag release. It is recommended to run steel on steel or plastic on plastic regarding the relationship between your magazine and magazine release. The steel mag catch is designed to be installed left handed or right handed. This mag release is low-profile for concealed carry and features a chamfered, textured release button. Note: the first generation aluminum mag catch may not work with gen 2 or gen 3 S156 magazines. It is recommended that you upgrade to this mag catch if you plan to run gen 2 or gen 3 S15 magazines.
