The SIG SAUER MCX-Spear Next-Gen Semi-Auto Rifle is a civilian-legal variant of the U.S. Army's XM7, designed for the U.S. Army's NGSW (Next Generation Squad Weapon). This model removes the often-unnecessary forward assist. Non-reciprocating side and rear charging handles offer amazing flexibility in shooting positions and optics capability. Fully-ambidextrous controls, include an ambidextrous bolt catch and safety selector for ease of operation. An interchangeable barrel allows caliber conversions. A 2-position, adjustable gas valve conveniently accommodates suppressed and unsuppressed use. The Matchlite Duo trigger offers a crisp, clean break with a tactile, short reset. A folding, 6-position Magpul SL-M stock keeps the weapon system slim while offering a secure hold. Integrated, stainless steel QD mounts in the lower receiver offer sling attachment points. This MCX-Spear includes an SLH/SLX muzzle device designed for rapid mounting of a suppressor. The Spear comes with an included 20-round magazine.
