Product Description
"With a well-earned reputation for precision and reliability, the Daniel Defense DD4 RIII Semi-Auto Rifle is Daniel Defense's take on the classic fully ambidextrous carbine AR-15. The ambidextrous lower receiver allows both right- and left-handed shooters to operate the bolt catch, safety selector, and magazine release without having to remove their dominant hand from the rifle's grip. The RIII model replaces the RII quad-rail handguard modeled after the iconic RSII 2-piece handguard developed for USSOCOM with a lighter-weight, free-floating, 12.5"" forend featuring M-LOK slots. This model features a government-profile barrel with a pinned and welded flash hider, which brings it up to legal length. The mid-length gas system provides a lighter recoil impulse than carbine-length gas systems. The stock is Daniel Defense's own creation, featuring soft rubber overmolding and 6-position adjustability. The Daniel Defense pistol grip features the ideal wrist angle and is also overmolded for comfort. If you want the finest example of the classic direct-impingement carbine, look no further. Includes hard plastic case.
