Like the original, the 5.0E features Rock Island's innovative RVS (Ram Valve System) recoil system that secures the action when firing and allows the gun to cycle without disrupting the bore axis. There's no vertical movement whatsoever so it's inherently more accurate. The 5.0E also carries over the smooth 4-lb. single action-only trigger. But the 5.0E (the E stands for Enhanced) adds a slide optics cut and optics plates for attaching your favorite optics. The slide has also been overhauled, adding deeper serrations and lightening cuts that save weight and reduce recoil. The 5.0E also sports an updated match-grade barrel for accuracy.
