Like the SCAR rifle, the SCAR 15P features a 7.5"" cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined, free-floated barrel topped with a 3-prong flash hider that helps tame muzzle rise. The hard-anodized monolithic aluminum receiver sports full-length MIL-STD-1913 rails at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock positions, providing more space for rail-mounted accessories. A Picatinny rail on the rear of the receiver allows you to add a stabilizing brace. Operating controls include dual, ambidextrous charging handles that remain static under fire and can be swapped between left and right; ambidextrous safety level and magazine release; and an enlarged trigger guard for easy access with gloves.
