They come equipped with a semi-rigid internal metatarsal impact resistant plate followed by an external flex-tipped deflective metatarsal plate. This level of protection is further enhanced by an ANSI-rated steel toe – together, these features provide flawless protection from dropped objects or crush hazards. The Megatar’s protection extends to double Achilles heel and instep reinforcements, as well as triple toe and heel reinforcements for complete coverage. The solid rubber outsole offers extreme traction on rough terrain wet or dry, and is specially formulated to resist oil. Furthermore, the Megatar’s entire construction is extremely resistant to puncturing, chemicals, and abrasion.
