When used as a weapon sight, the SLIM L35 attaches to the host weapon using a proprietary quick-detach mounting system that allows the optic to retain its zeroing even after being removed. The heart of the SLIM L35 is a Nocpix 384 microbolometer with 384x288 resolution, an NEDT sensitivity rating of =18mK, and a Reality+ Image Processor. The microbolometer is paired with a manual focus 35mm f1.0 germanium lens with a generous 7.5° x 5.7° field of view. The sensor and lens allows the SLIM L35 to detect heat signatures from 1750 yards away and displays them on a 1024x768 AMOLED display.
