A small crab pattern with a big reputation -- the Belize crab is essentially a Turneffe crab, designed to imitate the various crustaceans found on Turneffe atoll and throughout Belize. It is ideal for spooky bonefish and permit in shallow water. Strip this fly very slowly (or not at all) to imitate a tiny crab hoping to avoid catching the attention of a passing predator.
