The Faxon 5R Rifled Barrel is manufactured 100% in-house from cradle-to-grave. The barrel is machined from gun-barrel quality bar-stock steel with black nitride coating for added durability and longevity. The 5R is a hybrid rifling, with opposite groove lands (cut ridges), as well as reduced sharp angles that reduces jacket deformation increasing the velocity. This makes for an extremely easy barrel for cleaning.
