Fair bore with present but worn rifling and moderate dirt with rust, All metal shows moderate pitting and rust and has been painted black, Stock and forend are solid with moderate handling marks and wear and shows several crack through stock near butt, Stock has been refinished, Butt plate and hinged floor plate are solid with moderate rust, Rifle shows moderate firing and handling wear overall. Italian produced Japanese type I Arisaka/Carcano hybrid. These rifles were made for the Japanese navy. Has the typical large gap stock splice in the buttstock. Also this rifle has been refinished and has a stress crack on the right side of the stock. This is as cheap as you find these anymore due to their recently discovered rarity and cool factor.
