The Brownells Mauser 98 receiver fixture ensures full access to these challenging-to-hold receivers, eliminating concerns of crushing or damage. It securely holds Mauser receivers and barreled actions in a bench vise, drill press or milling machine during operations such as drilling and tapping for scope bases, polishing, bolt lapping, milling or other modifications. The receiver is firmly clamped to the fixture using a plate within the frame rails and/or the stock mounting screws. It is compatible with both military and commercial M98 actions. The fixture includes a clamp plate and bolt.
