Maxxis Aggressor Double Down/TR 29in Tire Black, 29x2.3

Product Description

Compared to its EXO sibling, the Maxxis Aggressor Double Down/TR 29in Tire hits the dirt with a beefier casing to confidently weather all manner of fast, rowdy trail. The key difference between the two is in the casing and overall weight. Maxxis' Double Down dual-ply casing construction provides slightly heavier, downhill-inspired protection than EXO and boasts a TPI of 120 compared to the EXO's 60. While this does add a bit of weight, clocking in at just over 1000 grams, Double Down makes up for that with increased durability to weather the miles. The knobby tread design features hard edges and reinforced side knobs to grip through loose, unpredictable stretches of trail and keep you from washing out on tight corners. Take the Aggressors on smooth hardpack and they'll do just fine, but you'll really see them shine on the loosest, least consistent sections of trail.
