ATN's NVM14-HPT is a compact night-vision device with a wide range of applications. It can be used as a handheld monocular, a head or helmet mounted imager, or mounted to a weapon and used in conjunction with a daytime optic. Applications include navigating on foot or in a vehicle, weapon firing, short-range surveillance, map reading, vehicle maintenance, and administering first aid. The NVM14-HPT can operate in both moonlight and starlight, but can also operate in pitch black conditions thanks to ATN's Total Darkness Technology which includes an integrated IR illuminator. The Automatic Brightness Control keeps the IIT brightness consistent, and the Automatic Protective System controls the existing illumination level through the photo receiver.
