The Bergara Premier Series Canyon Rifle delivers excellent long range performance. It comes standard with a No. 4 Taper, fluted barrel and a TriggerTech Frictionless Release trigger to ensure accuracy. To reduce weight, the Canyon is outfitted with a AG Composite stock made from 100% carbon fiber, and a Swamper Rogue Camo patter in included to help you blend in. As with all of Bergara’s Premier Series rifles, the Canyon is equipped with the Premier action. This utilizes a two-lug system with a separate floating bolt head, which guarantees contact with the lug supports in the action. To ensure the cartridges feed smoothly, the bolt nose is cone shaped, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor allows for reliable ejection of spent brass. Compatible with both hinged floor plates and AICS-pattern detachable box magazines, and designed to accept Remington 700 scope bases with 8-40 screws.
