Ravin has practically reinvented the crossbow with the R18. It utilizes Ravin’s own proprietary VertiCoil Cam System, which rotates the ultra-small cams 720 degrees, allowing the strings and cables to coil around the cams and axels. The result is an axel to axel height of a mere 1.3 inches when cocked or 4.1 inches uncocked, and an overall static width of 4.75 inches. This take down style crossbow’s limbs expand vertically, an unconventional configuration that fires bolts at 330 feet per second. The R18 as also features a detachable stock, giving it a length of just 18 inches with the stock detached and 25 inches with the stock installed. In addition, the R18 features Ravin’s own 3-Dot Reflex sight for rapid target acquisition.
