The Obsidian45 by Rugged Suppressors was built from the ground up for 45 Caliber sound reduction. It features the ADAPT Modular Technology, allowing the user to use the Obsidian45 in two configurations: short and long. The long configuration provides maximum noise and flash reduction. For applications that prioritize weight and length savings, the ADAPT Module can be removed, effectively cutting the length of the Obsidian45 in half. The baffles are precision machined from 17-4 stainless steel barstock, and feature three indexing tabs to ensure proper alignment. The baffles create a gas seal the virtually eliminates carbon built up. The piston is non slotted to create a full circumference gas seal to drastically lower gas blowback. Additionally the Obsidian45 is rated for full-auto fire, and shares parts compatibility with the Obsidian45 suppressor.
