The 457 ProVarmint Suppressor-Ready is an optimized version of CZ’s popular Varmint series, and comes fully equipped with accuracy and performance enhancing features. One of the rifle’s more notable features is its cold hammer forged, heavy profile barrel which has been given 1/2x28” threading for installing a suppressor or similar muzzle device. A black painted synthetic stock was also included to provide a rock-solid foundation to the heavy barrel and action, and offers an ergonomic palm swell and raised cheek piece for superior ergonomics and shooter comfort. The stock’s fore-end is considerably wide, perfect for riding sandbags, and dual QD swivels at the front allows both a bipod and sling to be used. The 457 ProVarmint’s bolt features a 60-degree throw, this was chosen to increase scope compatibility especially on scopes with a larger ocular bell and lower ring heights. Under the recommendation of US Hunter’s Education instructors and 4-H shooting coaches, the 457 ProVarmint is outfitted with an American-style push-to-fire safety – a configuration that American shooters are more accustom to. In addition, the 457 ProVarmint Suppressor-Ready features a fully adjustable trigger, and an 11mm dovetail for installing optics.
